Good strong B rig conditions and some boats coming out with C rig at the end of the day’s club racing. Great close racing  all day with Des sailing his V8 Rat being top of the leader board after 8 races

Long coarse was set by John and Shane with a good fleet of boats battling it out in the light westerly breeze . Des Hendry  was first place for the Coastal Classic Trophy with Glen Riley first overall when all eight races that were sailed came in to count

Nice North West breeze for A rig ,sunshine,good size fleet,Great racing were the ingredients for a fun days sailing .Glen Riley was top after 8 races however he was pushed hard by Shane Moyes who was in splendid form winning three races

Light shifty wind tested all sailors but not Glen who  won the series with his  Davidson designed boat

Nice south west breeze,sunshine with eleven boats racing .A gust came through in the morning and some hurriedly changed to B rig. A rig was the best for the day . Darrel Hopkins tactically sailed very well to be winner of the Day

The tricky Northerly breeze was back. Everyone stuck with A rig despite some good strong gusts coming through . Glen Riley Strung some very consistent results together to be at the top of the board after 8 races

Very good winds from the west for the North Island and Northland IOM Championships enabled 27 races to be held with good fare sailing

Ian Vickers  from North Shore again showed is superiority cleaning up the regatta  with 14 first places

Last years runner up Graham Cross also from North Shore again showed he is a force to be reckoned with again finishing in the same position with Brett May from Gulf Harbour in third place

Race officer Darrel Hopkins ran a splendid  regatta that was enjoyed by all

Ian Vickers won the regatta  with his new V 10 He was consistently pushed throughout the racing by Rob Nelson .

Conditions were difficult  for race officer Paddy Simms to set a fair course on the first two days with rain washing out the racing on the Saturday morning .

On Sunday the weather settled down to 10 to 20 knot westerly and everyone settled into having some great racing
